X sues Duel’s operator: what the lawsuit claims
On 28 September 2026, X Corp. filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas against Immortal Snail LLC, the company behind Duel.com. X alleges a years-long campaign of bribing X workers and taking over accounts. These are allegations; nothing has been proven in court.
What happened
According to Casino.org’s report on the complaint, X Corp. sued Immortal Snail LLC, the Nevis company that operates Duel.com, on 28 September 2026 in federal court in Texas. The complaint names Duel’s founder, Ossi “Monarch” Ketola, who is also known as the founder of CSGOEmpire.
X says the conduct stretches back to 2024 and centres on getting suspended accounts, including @duel and @monarch, restored.
What X alleges
- That X employees and contractors were offered money for internal information or to reinstate suspended accounts, including an alleged offer of $300,000 to one employee.
- That accounts were compromised or transferred, and that a former CSGOEmpire staffer’s account was hacked and used to promote Duel.
- That an account was run as a “hit squad” targeting critics, and that fraudulent legal requests were used to try to restore accounts.
- That Immortal Snail later bought the @duel handle from X without disclosing its link to earlier compromised accounts.
X suspended @duel, @monarch and related accounts around October 2025, citing ban evasion and other violations.
The arbitration fight
Immortal Snail had earlier filed an American Arbitration Association claim seeking to force X to restore @Duel, @Monarch and @Castle. X says it never agreed to arbitrate with Immortal Snail and is asking the federal court for an order halting that arbitration. At the time of the report, Immortal Snail had not responded to the complaint, and Duel had made no public statement.
What it means for Duel players
The case is about Duel’s conduct on X, not about its games, balances or withdrawals. Nothing in the complaint concerns player funds, and Duel continued to operate normally while the case was filed. Still, it adds to a list of controversies around the brand, and it is fair for players to weigh that alongside the odds and rewards. We will update this article if the court rules on X’s request or Immortal Snail responds.
