Crypto casino comparison 2026: Duel vs Stake, Gamdom, Shuffle and Rainbet
Five of the most popular crypto casinos, compared on what actually costs or earns you money: the house edge on in-house games, rakeback and bonuses, VIP programs, payments, KYC and licences. Every figure is sourced, and anything unpublished is marked as such.

Which crypto casino has the lowest house edge?
House edge is the casino’s built-in margin: 100% minus RTP. On in-house Originals such as Dice, Crash, Plinko and Mines, these five casinos fall into two groups.
| Casino | Originals RTP | House edge | What is published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duel | 100% | 0% | Zero edge within a daily allowance, shown in your account |
| Gamdom | 100% | 0% | Announced for all Originals in December 2025; no conditions stated |
| Stake | 99% (Dice) | 1% | Official Dice page; most Stake Originals around 1% |
| Shuffle | 99% (Plinko) | 1% | Reported by reviews; most Originals tiles show no RTP |
| Rainbet | Not published | Above 0% | Constant house edge described, no figure |
For slots and live tables the casino matters much less: all five use providers such as Pragmatic Play and Evolution, and the RTP depends on the game version each casino runs. Always check the info panel of the exact game.
What a 1% house edge costs you
One percent sounds small, but it applies to every bet, so it scales with how much you wager, not how much you deposit.
| Total wagered | Expected cost at 1% edge | Expected cost at 0% edge |
|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | $10 | $0 |
| $10,000 | $100 | $0 |
| $50,000 | $500 | $0 |
| $250,000 | $2,500 | $0 |
That is why a zero-edge casino can be worth more to a regular Originals player than a one-off welcome bonus. Rakeback works the other way round: it returns a share of the edge, so on a 0% game there is nothing to return. Our rakeback guide explains how the two interact.
Best crypto casino for each need
- Lowest house edge: Duel and Gamdom (100% RTP Originals).
- Rakeback with no wagering from day one: Duel.
- Biggest welcome bonus: Rainbet (250% package) or Shuffle (100% up to $1,000), both with wagering.
- VIP program and hosts: Stake and Gamdom.
- Sports and esports betting: Stake, then Gamdom and Shuffle.
- Fiat deposits and withdrawals: Gamdom (13 currencies).
- Crypto token and lottery: Shuffle (SHFL).
- Longest track record: Gamdom (2016) and Stake (2017).
Duel head-to-head comparisons
Each guide compares Duel with one casino in depth: house edge, rewards, games, payments, KYC, licence and who each one suits.
- Duel vs Stake: Zero edge vs 1% edge; rakeback vs Stake’s VIP program, game range and sportsbook.
- Duel vs Gamdom: Both advertise 100% RTP Originals; how rewards, VIP, fiat and KYC differ.
- Duel vs Shuffle: Zero edge vs 99% RTP; Shuffle’s welcome bonus, VIP and SHFL token.
- Duel vs Rainbet: Lower edge vs Rainbet’s 250% welcome package, races and VIP ranks.
Welcome bonus or rakeback: which is worth more?
Welcome bonuses look bigger but come with wagering. Shuffle’s 100% bonus, for example, reportedly needs 35x the deposit plus bonus: a $500 deposit means $35,000 of wagering, which at a 1% edge has an expected cost of about $350. Rakeback with no wagering, like Duel’s, is smaller per bet but is yours immediately.
As a rule: if you deposit once and play a little, a bonus can be worth it. If you play regularly, lower edge and wager-free rakeback usually return more over time. See our Duel bonus guide and Duel promo code page for Duel’s current offers.
Licences, KYC and restricted countries
All five are offshore crypto casinos. Duel, Gamdom and Rainbet hold Anjouan licences; Stake and Shuffle hold Curaçao licences. Neither licence gives the protection of the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, so if a dispute goes wrong there is little outside help.
Every one of them restricts the US and the UK, and most block Australia, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries too. KYC rules differ, from Duel’s no-documents-by-default approach to Shuffle’s ID check before the first withdrawal, but all five can ask for verification on large withdrawals. Do not use a VPN to get around a block.
How we compare casinos
We use each casino’s own published game information and terms first, and independent reviews where the casino publishes nothing. House edge is 100% minus RTP. We do not count bonuses or rakeback in the house edge, and we do not assume one edge for a whole casino. Where a figure is not published, we say so instead of guessing. Full details are in our methodology.
